Come spiega l'autore (se vedi ho postato il link):
Oh, Angel, you little silly.
Is Angel a jerk? In some degree, yes. As a pet, he is not only demanding but also take Fluttershy's caretaking for granted . But on the other hand, sometimes he also can be a good companion such as helping Fluttershy to get the ticket of gala, reminding her of time, or comforting his sad master. therefore I think Angel do cherish his master, only that he's like a spoiled child and often taking advantage of Fluttershy's mild personality.
Even though, his act in S2E19 is not acceptable. He physically abused her by slaping her face and throwing her out of her cottage. I really think that can be counted as Domestic Violence. That's how the story come up to my mind.
Of course what this comic depict is too simple, in reality is is much more complicated. Domestic Violence may result into broken hearts and devastated families by repeating its cycle of violence. How do we end this cycle? I don't know, but I know there's no use doing nothing and believe everything can turn out fine which is why Twilight plays an important role in this comic.
