Draconequus: razza di pony? specie a parte? solo Discord?

Giocando a Pathfinder ho trovato la spiegazione: Discord è un Protean.

Missionaries of chaos and heralds of reality’s eventual unraveling, imenteshes are the proteans most likely to be encountered outside of Limbo. Despite their sometimes loquacious and courtly manner, imenteshes’ entropic agenda is ever at the front of their minds, and this inherent madness is evident in the soft, telepathic susurrus that constantly surrounds them, threatening to warp the minds of the weak-willed.

l'ho sempre pensato più come un reietto della sua specie. Mi piace immaginarlo come uno stregone troppo potente che si è fuso con le forze del Caos e ha ottenuto i poteri e la follia che caratterizza discord e l'abbia usata per spargere il disordine nel suo paese. Gli altri draconequus allora non hanno avuto altra scelta che bandirlo... e Discord ha pensato bene di trasformare Equestria nel suo regno del caos
